DO Alabi is a Professor of Political Science and Defence Studies. Prof Alabi had his secondary education in Baptist High School, Igede Ekiti. He has the following academic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of Lagos, Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Ilorin, M.Sc International Relations from the University of Ile Ife and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Political Science from Bayero University Kano. Prof Alabi joined the service of the Nigerian Defence Academy in March 1991.  Prof Alabi served as the Head of Department twice from Oct 2003 to April 2006 and from Dec 2011 to Oct 2013. He was the Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences between 2008 and 2011.


Prof Jonathan Maduka Nwaedozie

Jonathan Nwaedozie, a Professor of Chemistry is the Dean of Faculty of Science, an astitute Scientist, Educationist and an Administrator. Professor Nwaedozie had his Primary Education at St Paul’s Catholic Primary School Ogboji in Aguata Local Government Area before proceeding to St Peters Secondary School Achina , all in Anambra State. He attended the University of Lagos for his Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies where he obtained the BSc and PhD degree in Chemistry. Prof Nwaedozie is one of the rare outstanding academics that bagged straight PhD from BSc without going through MSc certification due to his high academic excellence.

Prof Nwaedozie area of interest is in the Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Studies and Physical Organic Chemistry. He is a Fellow of Chemicals Society of Nigeria, Fellow Institute of Chartered Chemist of Nigeria, a Registered Public Analyst of Nigeria and Federal Government Registered Environmental Consultant. He has an over 35 years of Chemical practice and has been in the Nigerian University system for over 32 years. He was part of the earlier staff that graduated the 36 Regular first D egree Course in 1988. He has held several positions in NDA including two times Head of Department of Chemistry. He was the pioneer Head of the Centre of Military Science & Technology which later natured the establishment of Faculty of Military Science & Interdisciplinary studies in 2013 and also the Head Centre for Chemical, Biological, Nuclear and Environmental Research.

Prof Nwaedozie has over 50 publications in both International and Local journals. His area of research interest apart from being a Public Analyst is in Environmental assessment and sustainability particularly in the military environment and synthesis, material science and kinetics of energetic explosive materials.


Dr. Nyitamen Dominic

Dr Dominic Saaityo Nyitamen was born on 12 October, 1967, at Yande in Konshisha Local Government of Benue State, Nigeria. After his Secondary Education he proceeded to the then University of Jos, where he obtained B.Eng in Electrical Electronics and Communications Engineering in 1991. Dr Nyitamen obtained his Master of Engineering degree and PhD Electrical Engineering at the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) in 1998 and 2006 respectively. He was at George Green Institute of Electromagnetic Research (GGIEMR), School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering University of Nottingham, UK as a Visiting Scholar for his post doctoral experience in electromagnetics.
Dr Nyitamen joined the services of the Nigerian Defence Academy as an Assistant Lecturer in December 1993. He was promoted in 2015 to the rank of an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering.

He has served on various committees within and outside the Academy. He has led accreditation team visits to several Polytechnics in Nigeria over the years and member, COREN accreditation to Universities. Two times Head of Department of Electrical Electronic Engineering, NDA.

Member, Nigerian Society of Engineers, MNSE and COREN Registered. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineering (IEEE) as well as Member, National Technical Committee TC-77 African Electrotechnical Standardization Commission (AFSEC)

Dr Nyitamen has significant experience in the use of anechoic chamber and GTEM cell in HF electromagnetic measurements with demonstrable skills in Labview, CST, HFSS and the George Green TLM software. His research interest includes wireless communications, Antennas, Frequency selective surfaces, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Applications. He has several publications to his credit.


Professor Francisca Nonyelum Ogwueleka

FN Ogwueleka is the pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies, Nigerian Defence Academy. She is a full Professor of Computer Science, specializing in big data and cloud security, data mining techniques, artificial intelligence, expert system and cybersecurity. Her current research interests include cloud data security, intrusion detection, and neural Networks. Outside of the scope of developmental problems, she has research contributions in the areas of Internet architecture, machine-to-machine applications, cloud security, email classification, intrusion detection, steganography, penetration testing solutions, information retrieval and security. She has been lecturing at the university since 1999. She was promoted to rank of full Professor in 2012.  She is a member of Member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigerian Computer Society (NCS), Association Computing Machinery (ACM), Society of Digital Information and Wireless Communications (SDIWC) and International Association of Engineers (IAENG). Professor Ogwueleka has served in various administration capacities within and outside the University communities ranging from Head of Department of Computer Science, Director of ICT, Director of Pre-Degree Programme, etc. She has authored and co-authored over ninety-five (95) articles in reputable national and international journals. She has eight (8) published Computer Science books. She has attended several national and international conferences as a paper presenter, guest of honour and keynote speaker. She is a reviewer for several national and international journals; an international technical adviser for several international conferences and has chaired several conference sessions and syndicates. She has developed both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Information Technology, Computer Science and Cyber Security Science for some national and international universities and colleges. She is a resource person for Nigerian Universities Commission curriculum development. She has supervised several PhD dissertations, Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security Science, Information Management Technology and PGD projects in Computer Science. She is an external examiner in two (2) foreign universities and ten (10) Nigerian Universities. She has been an external assessor for Professorial Assessment for some universities. She is happily married with children.
